A Tax Identification Number (TIN) is your income tax number assigned by LHDN Malaysia. All
taxpayers in Malaysia should have a TIN. It can be generated through:
- Automatic registration (e.g., through monthly tax deductions)
- Automatic registration of new companies (local or foreign)
- Online via e-Daftar
- Manual registration at any LDHN branch
You can find your TIN on the first page of your income tax return or check it through the MyTax
Portal at https://mytax.hasil.gov.my under the “e-Daftar” menu.
